2) Students were accessed on their vocabulary knowledge acquired this week for definitions and application of terms in sentences. 3) After the quiz, students received next week's Article of the Week to begin independent reading, annotations, and reflections. 1) Using SMART Response, students submitted their results from the vocabulary worksheet for a formative grade.
2) Afterwards, students participated in an online activity using Kahoot to access prior knowledge from themes found in Twelve Angry Men. 2) Students received this week's vocabulary terms chrom/derm. Please look to the "Vocabulary" tab for more resources. Vocabulary worksheet is due on Thursday, 8.13.15, with quiz on Friday, 8.14.15. 1. Today, we established procedures and norms for World Literature.
2. Students received the Coat of Arms and Instructions Sheet. During class, time was allotted to begin the Coat of Arms. This will be used as a brainstorming activity for the Letter of Introduction to follow. The Letter of Introduction and Coat of Arms is due Monday, August 10th, 2015. |
